Urban Goddess is a series of pen and ink
drawings that depict the strength and beauty
of the woman. A unique combination of value
and color was used to create an experience
of a type of female warrior, yet still sensual
in appearance. Subtle uses of poses and
items present an urban feel of today’s
woman. The Gestalt theories of visual perception
were also applied to push the artwork to
another plane.
