The Give me myself works are paintings and drawings that depict one's search for their true self. The mask represents the persona one reveals to society while concealing the true self; whether it be out of fear, to fit in, etc. The Gestalt theories of visual perception, were incorporated to display meticulous attention to detail and forms that provide rhythm and tension to the collection.
